Coursera volcanoes course has begun … for 10,000 students!

At first I was a little annoyed that this course started today, a day late, until learning that some 10,000 people have signed up for it!

A detailed syllabus is up now, and it looks very interesting. I’m going to like this.

However, the video lecture is running slow currently – probably a good percentage of us 10,000 are trying to view it. I will try to find an off-time for it.
