Popocatépetl interacting with atmosphere at summit

I noticed some interesting cloud formations on the Tochimilco webcam at Popocatépetl just now.

Volcanoes do make their own weather at times, and Popo, at almost 18,000 feet, can cause some beautiful clouds, particularly lenticular clouds, sometimes. Today, at the moment, it has a vigorous steam plume heading in one direction, and interesting cloud waves going on behind that rather turbulently. I saved eight images from the cam, all taken within the last 40 minutes or so:
