I made it up to the top of the hill, and took pictures of the World War II memorial in Cohoes, NY, which is an Eisenhower ash tree. These are grown from seeds of the ash tree that grows on President Eisenhower’s property. It’s not easy to find a lot of information on them, so I will do an in-depth post on one eventually. In the meantime, here is a picture of the memorial and a close-up of the inscription. There are wires all around so it is difficult to get a decent picture of the whole thing.
